Johnny Manziel has been in a lot of trouble lately in the news. First, it’s the drugs and alcohol, now; it’s him making his girlfriend into a makeshift punching bag. When will Johnny finally figure his life out? His father recently spoke to reporters saying, “Johnny will not make it to his 24th birthday unless he checks himself into rehab.” His closest relatives are hoping for a quick change in his life, and the Browns might want to stop rearranging their quarterback plans around Money Manziel’s schedule. More details continue to emerge about the downfall of former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.
More news regarding Manziel’s alcohol problems continue to flow out from the Browns press secretaries. Columnist Michael Silver reported Tuesday that Manziel showed up clearly intoxicated and late on Wednesday to the important practice prior to Cleveland’s week 17 finale versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Manziel was reportedly sighted in Las Vegas out enjoying himself with his buddies in a bar downtown. The Browns attempted to cover up Manziel’s incident at Browns practice by diagnosing him with a concussion under supposed, “protocol.”
The question still stands, if Johnny Manziel figures out his life, will he still possibly have a spot on the god awful Cleveland Browns? New Head Coach Hue Jackson will have a lot on his hands if the Browns keep trying to protect Money Manziel, instead of focusing on improving their standings in the league. Could Johnny possibly have a turnaround coming his way? Who knows honestly but he does definitely have the resources around him. Current NFL star Tyrann Mathieu, who was troubled himself in the past with abuse and addiction, tweeted to Manziel recently, in a desperate call to help the troubled Browns quarterback, “Johnny should hit me up…It ain’t easy but its worth it bra!” Let’s hope the much-loved NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel gets some help and turns his life around.
