Brady was part of the pre game ceremony at yesterday’s Super Bowl. Because it was Super Bowl 50, the NFL honored every Super Bowl MVP over the last 50 years by calling out their name and what Super Bowl they received an MVP from. Brady, being his professional self, decided to attend despite his ongoing battle against the league. Every name that was called out was highly praised by the crowd. Well, almost every name.
When Brady’s named was called out, with his 3 Super Bowl MVPs, the crowd noise all turned into boo’s. Brady, who grew up in California as a 49ers fan, was not very appreciated by the Bronco’s and Panther’s fans at Levi’s Stadium near his home town. The second that announcer spent all that time announcing the multiple Super Bowl MVP’s he earned, the crowd’s attitude changed. If you think that Brady was phased by that you clearly aren’t a Pat’s fan.
Brady dont give a damn. Brady walked out looking like a God per usual, keeping his sunglasses on to blind out the haters and threw a thumbs up at the crowd while rocking that classic Tom smile. He loved it. Bradys all about the hate us cuz they aint us mentality. Brady wasn’t even playing in the Super Bowl and he still stole the show (partially because of how terrible the actual Super Bowl was).
The only other player that received moderate disapproval from the fans was Ray Lewis, and that man killed a dude. I guess thats fair though, one guy murders people, one man murders every team in the league. But, Michael Strahan said it best, if you’re getting boo’d like that, you must be doing something right. Just because Brady hogs all of the Super Bowls doesn’t mean he deserves the boo’s.
As of right now its a toss up Between Brady and Montana as the GOAT. However, Montana received some of the loudest noise out of all the players that were named. Brady got straight disrespected. I mean its not like the fans can’t appreciate greatness, Montana was truly great and they acknowleged him. Just stay consistant and cheer for the man thats still making history.
Again, Brady could care less. He knows next time they call his name out like that, its going to be for the Super Bowl 51 MVP.
